Ahmed Musa Poised To Break Transfer Record

CSKA Moscow star Ahmed Musa is poised to break the transfer record for a Nigerian player if his transfer to the English Premier League materializes this summer.
It has been reported that Leicester City are willing to splash €30 million to sign the pacy striker from the Muscovites, while Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid in the region of €25 million.
As thing stand, if Musa should sign for one of the English teams, he will break the record currently held by his skipper in the national team John Obi Mikel.
Now 29, Mikel joined Chelsea in 2006 from Lyn Oslo, with the London club paying total transfer fees of 20 million euros.
CSKA Moscow purchased Ahmed Musa from VVV Venlo in January 2012 for five million euros which now seems like a bargain, given that their profit on investment could be as high as 400 percent

Bride Killed By Husband On Wedding Night In Pakistan For Not ‘being A Virgin

A 17-year-old bride was allegedly strangled to death by her husband on the night of their wedding in a suspected case of ‘honour killing’, Jacobabad police said on Saturday. Alleged pictures of the deceased bride is making rounds on social media and suggested that the young girl was killed by her husband for “not being a virgin”. Khanzadi, daughter of Lal Mohammad Lashari, married her cousin Qalandar Bux Khokhar the night before her lifeless body was found in her bedroom in ADC Colony. The suspect, her husband, remains on the run. Khanzadi’s mother notified the police when she failed to receive any response from their house the morning after the wedding. Policemen, with the help of the victim’s brother Ali Sher Lashari, forced entry into the house, only to discover Khanzadi’s lifeless body on the bed. Her husband was missing.
